Lichtman started skating when she was 6 after her father, who was the mayor, had an ice arena built in her hometown ... Participated in the Basic Skills Program in 1999 ... Is the youngest of four children ... Father, Lawrence, is an attorney and mother, Holly, is an interior designer ... Graduated magna cum laude from Northville High School in 2011 ... Won the Department of English, Department of Social Studies and Arctic Figure Skating Academic Excellence awards ... Member of the German Honor Society and National Honor Society ...
