Olson started skating when she was 7 because she liked the cold of the rink in the hot of summer ... Participated in the Basic Skills Program from 2000-01 ... Skated with Greg Zuerlein from 2001-06, with whom she won the intermediate bronze medal at the 2005 U.S. Junior Championships, and Patrick Mays from 2006-07 ...
