Daniil began skating at age 4 in Russia ... Previously competed with Natalia Romaniuta, with whom he was a two-time World Junior ice dancing champion and Grand Prix (Sparkassen Cup) medalist ... They also competed at the World and European championships ... Formerly coached by Alexei Gorshkov (1994-02) and Nikoli Morozov (2002-07) ... Has a younger sister, Maria, in Russia ... Graduated from the sports university in Russia ... Hobbies include studying real estate and renovating his condo ... Favorite foreign country to travel to is Holland ... Has a passion for real estate ... Not many people know he speaks Bulgarian ... Biggest life-defining moment was meeting his wife ...
