Forte reached the U.S. Championships at the senior level for the first time in January 2009, when she placed 12th ... For that finish and more, she was placed on the 2009-10 U.S. Reserve Team Envelope ... However, in July 2009, she decided that she would not be skating for the U.S. in 2009-10, and possibly beyond, so she was removed from the reserve envelope.
