Eldredge is a six-time U.S. champion and also captured the World championship in 1996. He won more than 30 international medals in his career, including five Skate America titles. In 1995, he became the only skater to win the U.S. championship after a three-year absence from the podium.
In 2001, Eldredge placed second at the U.S. Championships and third at the World Championships. His stunning victory at the 2002 U.S. Championships, his sixth U.S. title, earned him his third berth to the Olympic Winter Games.
Eldredge was coached his entire career by Richard Callaghan, training with him in Philadelphia, Colorado Springs, San Diego and Rochester, Mich.
