Rizo will suspend her skating career as she gets readyto enjoy her college experience; she will start at Northeastern in the fall of 2009.
Started skating at age 4 when she went to a synchronized skating competition to watch her aunt, who was a Haydenette ... Went to Braintree High School and was the 2008 first-place winner at the Braintree High Science Fair ... Honor roll student ... Will begin freshman year at Northeastern University in fall 2009 ... Has raised money and participated in Relay for Life and Out of the Darkness walks ... Spends her free time reading, shopping and swimming ... Younger brother Jared plays on a competitive hockey team ... Wants to obtain a medical degree and become a doctor ... Has a passion for science and writing ... What sets her apart from others is that she goes to school full-time and has a great sense of humor ... Would be on The Amazing Race because "it looks like an amazing experience" ... Suffered a sprained ankle during the early part of summer 2007 ...
