Courtney Hicks, the reigning U.S. pewter medalist, and Ashley Cain, the 2012 U.S. junior silver medalist, will headline the show. Hip-hop dancer Comfort Fedoke, a top-eight finalist and all-star dancer from Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, will also perform.
The show will feature young local performers from figure skating programs and dance studios across the Pittsburgh region, including the Skating Club of Mount Lebanon.
"We are excited to welcome two new skating stars to the Skate Dance Dream family, Courtney Hicks and Ashley Cain," Pennington said. "We look forward to watching them chase their Olympic aspirations while inspiring our up-and-coming skaters in the Pittsburgh area."
Skate Dance Dream is a one-of-a-kind, interactive production that unites figure skating and dance, complete with a dance stage on the ice. The family-style show brings together world-class stars with young local performers in a unique and inspirational setting.
"Our platform offers a shared passion for two of America's favorite arts that brings people together, reminding us all to dream big," Pennington said. "For fans and youth performers alike, this is an experience that delivers pure inspiration."
