(06/04/2012) - U.S. Figure Skating announced Monday it has renewed its agreement with Prudential Financial to remain a Partner-level sponsor, the organization's premier level of sponsorship. The partnership, which extends through the end of 2014, includes entitlement of the 2013 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships to be held Jan. 20-27, 2013, in Omaha, Neb., and the 2014 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships (dates, location TBA).

The 2014 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships will serve as the final qualifying event prior to the selection of the U.S. Olympic figure skating team that will represent Team USA Feb. 7-23, 2014, in Sochi, Russia, at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

"We are excited that Prudential is returning as one of U.S. Figure Skating's cornerstone partners in our growing family of sponsors," U.S. Figure Skating Executive Director David Raith said. "It is through strategic partnerships like this that we are able to showcase the sport of figure skating and our top athletes."

The partnership includes commercial inventory across all U.S. Figure Skating television assets, including the 2012 Grand Prix of Figure Skating broadcasts on NBC. In addition to serving as the title sponsor of the 2013 and '14 U.S. Championships, Prudential will be an associate sponsor of 2013 and 2014 Hilton HHonors Skate America and will receive signage, on-site activation opportunities, digital advertising on icenetwork.com, grass-roots activation and other marketing assets throughout the term of the agreement.
