(12/01/2011) - U.S. Figure Skating announced Thursday it has reached an agreement with Prudential Financial to become a Partner-level sponsor, the organization's premier level of sponsorship. The partnership includes entitlement of the 2012 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., Jan. 22-29, 2012.

"We are excited to welcome Prudential to the U.S. Figure Skating family of sponsors," U.S. Figure Skating Executive Director David Raith said. "It is through strategic partnerships like this that we are able to showcase the sport of figure skating and our top athletes on network television."

The partnership, which includes commercial inventory in the remaining 2011 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating broadcasts on NBC, extends through the end of 2012. In addition to serving as the title sponsor of the 2012 U.S. Championships, Prudential will be an associate sponsor of 2012 Hilton HHonors Skate America and will receive signage, on-site activation opportunities, digital advertising on and other marketing assets throughout the term of the agreement.

NBC will broadcast seven hours of skating from the 2012 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships, including live coverage of the ladies free skate in prime time from 9-11 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, Jan. 28. The broadcast schedule for the U.S. Championships also includes live coverage of the men's, pairs and ice dancing finals. An additional two hours, featuring the Smucker's Skating Spectacular, will air Saturday, Feb. 4, from 2-4 p.m. (ET).
