The pair of Tanith Belbin and Boyd Devereaux, also in the bottom two, will continue to compete for their chance to win a $100,000 donation to their chosen charities, the Montreal Neurological Institute and Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce.
This week NHL hockey legend and two-time Stanley Cup winner Mark Napier provided his insightful commentary on each pair's performance as guest judge along with remarks from head judge Sandra Bezic. Also, Paul Martini, Canadian Sports Hall of Famer and world figure skating champion, sat in for Jeremy Roenick in the resident judge chair on the Oct. 9 performance show. Shae-Lynn Bourne, former Battle of the Blades competitor and Canadian Figure Skating Hall of Famer, sat in as resident judge on Monday, Oct. 10, for the results show.
Broadcast from the MasterCard Centre on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on CBC, the six pairs returning to compete on the ice are: Violetta Afanasieva and Cale Hulse; Belbin and Devereaux; Elena Berezhnaya and Curtis Leschyshyn; Tessa Bonhomme and David Pelletier; Marie-France Dubreuil and Bryan Berard; and Anabelle Langlois and Brad May. The next half hour "skate-off" results show is on Monday, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m. ET.
