Figure Skating in Harlem asks you to reach for the stars and give back to a great cause

(04/02/2009) - Westport, CONN. - Charities need help more than ever in this tough economy and the elite and famous, such as Scott Hamilton, Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, Star Jones, Tamara Tunie, John Starks and others hope to raise awareness and money for the non-profit organization, Figure Skating in Harlem.

Their mission is to provide exciting new educational, cultural and athletic opportunities for girls in the Harlem community through the unique discipline and art of figure skating. Figure Skating in Harlem has teamed up for the second year with, which will host the online auction, Skating with the Stars 2009, on its website.

Interested bidders and fans alike can log on to Charitybuzz through Tuesday, April 21, to place their bids on a variety of unique celebrity experiences, luxury travel packages, signed memorabilia and exclusive merchandise. Proceeds from this benefit will help Figure Skating in Harlem become an even stronger resource for girls in the Harlem community.
