(11/13/2007) - Just because Sasha Cohen stopped figure skating competitively doesn't mean she's lost her championship drive.

Cohen, who just celebrated her 23rd birthday, continues to make Orange County, Calif. here home base, as she travels the world performing in exhibition skating shows.

Next up for Cohen is the 2007 Fashion on Ice show, Nov. 17 at Caesar's Atlantic City Casino. Performing with Cohen is reigning U.S. champion Evan Lysacek and four-time U.S. national dance champions Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto. When not on the road, Cohen likes to kick back and relax. She recently bought a house near the beach and has also penned an autobiography, Fire on Ice: Autobiography of a Champion Figure Skater.

Tell us a little bit about Fashion on Ice?

It's an exciting event mixing fashion, music, and live skating. Skaters will be wearing designers dresses and skating live to Sarah Brightman's beautiful music. It's a great event and really exciting to do something new.

Who are you wearing?

Heatherette and Tracy Reese.

Are you enjoying being able to do things like this rather than compete?

I love to do different things and am interested in everything that the world has to offer. So getting to explore different opportunities is very exciting for me.

What about the film you were in, Moonlight Alexander?

It was a great opportunity and I loved working with everyone on set. It was a totally new experience and I really learned a lot.

Do you see more acting in your future?

Definitely, although I'm super busy with the Smuckers Stars on Ice tour and television skating specials at this point. I've loved taking acting classes and it's really helped me to grow as a person. I will definitely pursue it in the future.

What other specials do you have coming up?

Progressive Fashion on Ice with musical star Sarah Brightman airing Jan. 20 on NBC. Also, the Capital One Holiday Celebration on Ice with Clay Aiken airing Dec. 25 on NBC.
