Edmunds highlights U.S. lineup in Salt Lake City

Reigning U.S. silver medalists and 2014 Olympians Polina Edmunds and ice dancing team Madison Chock and Evan Bates headline Team USA's entries at the 2014 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic, scheduled for Sept. 10-14 in Salt Lake City.

Icenetwork will provide complete event coverage of the U.S. International Classic, as well as the 2014 U.S. Novice and Junior Challenge Skate, which will be held concurrently with the senior competition. Live streaming video will be available to subscribers, while recaps, news and photos will be provided for all users.

Also competing in Salt Lake City will be 2014 U.S. bronze medalist Mirai Nagasu, 2013 U.S. champion Max Aaron, and Alexa Scimeca and Chris Knierim, the 2013 U.S. pairs silver medalists. Aaron will look to defend his title from the 2013 competition, as will Courtney Hicks.

The U.S. International Classic, now in its third year, will feature 50 athletes representing 14 countries, including Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Mexico, Philippines and Spain. It is the first in a series of 11 competitions that will make up the newly formed ISU Challenger Series.
